My polo ponies play regularly and hard during the season and whilst they are fit and in good condition they are prone to soreness and potential injury. I asked Melissa to come and do some massages on a couple of my ponies and the results of her gentle yet skilled techniques were instantly obvious. The ponies had not been massaged before and are not that easy or used to very hands on human touch all over their bodies but they relaxed immediately and certainly seemed to enjoy the experience, but more importantly they remained sound and injury free for the whole season.
I would definitely recommend equine massage to any conscientious horse owner and Melissa in particular as an excellent equine body worker.
